Compaq On-Call launched in BombayBangalore-based Compaq India has inaugurated a tele-support centre in Bombay called 'Compaq On-Call', to provide online, technical assistance and support for its entire range of products.
A company statement has said that this is the second tele-support centre after Delhi, which was inaugurated last month. At the Compaq On-Call centre, the service will be provided free and will facilitate easy access to 'Compaq certified engineers' equipped with special remote diagnostic tools. Compaq India Managing Director Som Mittal said that Compaq On-Call is part of the company's continued effort to provide its customers with quality support, accountability and highest customer satisfaction in the industry. "Our aim to offer tele-support to our customers across the country once toll free numbers are made available," he added. Compaq On-Call offers support to all customers who have availed of Compaq's branded services that include hardware and software support for complete range of products and it will also provide end-to-end call management for all support issues. Compaq product users can access Compaq On-Call by dialling (022-8571001-4) or by sending a fax to (022-8572142). The centre can also be accessed by email at oncall.mumbai@digital.com. Mittal said that trained technical support staff would receive customer calls and attempt to answer customer questions and resolve complaints over the phone. Compaq On-Call staff is supported by a database of diagnostic reports and product performance reports from previous cases and online technical reference notes.
