Microsoft-Kale Consultants deal to target Indian banksMicrosoft Corporation today announced that it has clinched an alliance with a local partner for strengthening its position in the Indian banking and financial services market.Microsoft Corporation India Private Limited tied up with Kale Consultants of Bombay that will use Windows distributed Internet applications architecture for financial services so as to develop future versions of 'Winbank', a ready-to-use software for the banking industry.
Windows distributed Internet applications architecture is Microsoft's middle strategy that will simplify the adoption of Winbank in banks with legacy systems. It will provide foundation for exposing the business logic within Winbank for alternative channels of delivery such as ATMs, telebanking and the Internet with the traditional retail branch mechanism for the delivery of these financial services.
