Kapil Dev questioned
by IT men: PTI

Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev was Thursday questioned by income tax officials in connection with the raid conducted at his residence on July 20.

Income tax officials questioned the former all-rounder about some documents recovered during the raid.

Kapil Dev confirmed he was questioned and said he was co-operating with the authorities.

"I have been visiting the IT office for three months and there is nothing new about Thursday's questioning," Kapil Dev told PTI.

"Its my job to co-operate with the income tax authorities," Kapil Dev said.

In a nation-wide swoop, the IT authorities had raided the premises of several cricketers, administrators and bookies on July 20.

The authorities, who will be completing their status report by the end of next month, have been questioning cricketers.
