To tour India or not As the war in Afghanistan intensifies, England's concerned cricketers will give their final decision this weekend about the forthcoming tour of India. Shyam Bhatia reports from London. It's safe to go to India: Lord Maclaurin Since September 11 the world has changed. Hostilities are just one country away from India. But England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Lord MacLaurin says he is confident the India tour will go on. 'We have decided that this tour is going to go ahead in the current circumstances' ECB Chief Executive Tim Lamb is equally confident the tour will go ahead. But in an exclusive interview with rediff.com he said it is unlikely that those individual sportsmen who decided to stay behind would be penalised in future Tests' selection.
