Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf today announced an award of Rupees one million for captain Inzamam-ul-Haq for leading the team to victory in the fourth one-day international cricket match against India in Ahmedabad.

The state run Pakistan Television reported that Musharraf spoke to Inzamamam, coach Bob Woolmer and the team manager Salim Altaf and congratulated the team.

He also praised Inzamam for his all-round contribution.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz also complimented the captain and the team members for winning today's match and levelling the six-match series 2-2.

Man of the match Inzamam made a gutsy unbeaten 60 to help Pakistan to a thrilling last ball win against India at the Motera Stadium on Tuesday.
