Controversial umpire Steve Bucknor, who was kept out of international matches after a string of poor decisions in the infamous Sydney Test, returns to officiate in the upcoming Australia-New Zealand Test series, starting November 20.
The West Indies umpire, who was withdrawn from the India-Australia series earlier this year after his controversial decisions were slammed by the Indians, will stand in the two-Test series alongside compatriot Billy Doctrove.
"Australia plays two home Tests against New Zealand, the first in Brisbane.
The series will be refereed by Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel, the ICC said in a statement.
