Now that the elections in Maharashtra are over, many politicians have taken off on holidays for a well-earned rest.
But there are some who are busy with campaigns in other states.
Shiv Sena working president Uddhav Thackrey is in Rome while his cousin Raj is in Australia.
These two leaders addressed the maximum number of rallies in the state and work very hard to reorganise the party cadre before the elections.
Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar is in Britain with his family. Pawar was hospitalised for a jaw operation during the campaign. But after being discharged, he took charge of the Congress-NCP campaign and hit the road.
However, doctors advised him not to strain a lot and so he could not attend many rallies.
Pawar is scheduled to return on May 7.
His party spokesperson Praful Patel is also in Britain and is scheduled to return the same day.
Once results are out on 13 May, these leaders will again get busy.
State Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders are not so lucky. They have been deployed in various states for electioneering.
BJP state president Gopinath Munde and general secretary Vinod Tawde are in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, respectively.
State unit vice-president Sharad Kulkarni is in Uttar Pradesh with 400 workers to help the party's candidates.
Congress leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde is busy in UP and Rajasthan. Minister of State for Home Kripashankar Singh is in UP.
