Lok Janshakti Party chief Ramvilas Paswan on Sunday reiterated that he would neither seek nor extend support to the Rashtriya Janata Dal or the Bharatiya Janata Party-Janata Dal (United) combine and would rather prefer to sit in the opposition.
While counting of votes was going on in Bihar, he arrived in New Delhi and talked about imposition of President's rule as one of the alternatives in case no alliance secured a majority.
He expressed confidence about the Congress-Lok Janshakti Party alliance forming the government.
"At least take it for sure the LJP will not commit the sin of paving the way for return of the corrupt and ineffective RJD regime or back a communal government led by the NDA."
