A chartered aircraft carrying Jharkhand's National Democratic Alliance legislators from Ranchi to Delhi on Wednesday night was delayed for an hour.
The delay was due to a complaint by a person claiming to be a relative of independent legislator Hari Narain Rai, one of the five paraded before the President to buttress NDA's claim to form government.
Chattur Kumar, who claimed to be the brother-in-law of Rai, said the MLA was being taken away to Delhi against his wishes.
He said he appealed to Bandhu Tirkey, who took oath on Wednesday evening as a minister in the Shibu Soren government, to help him take Rai off the flight.

Tirkey was at the airport.
Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Gupta arrived on the scene and along with the minister and Kumar went inside the airport.
The plane remained on the tarmac for over an hour before it eventually took off.
Kumar later said the airport authorities gave him permission to ascertain whether Rai was on the flight.
"But I was not allowed to board the plane," Kumar added.
The SSP declined comment and hurried out. Subsequently, the minister also left.
An airport security official said none had embarked or disembarked from the flight. Among the NDA legislators on board the flight were former chief minister Arjun Munda, Karia Munda, Dinesh Saragi and Inder Singh Namdhari, state Janata Dal-United president.
