The big guns in the IT industry are booming once again and hiring has picked up speed. Here are some numbers:
Tata Consultancy Services plans to hire 37,000 professionals for its domestic and overseas markets through campus placements in the financial year beginning April 1,2011.
The top five companies are estimated to hire 160,000 to 180,000 new employees in the next one year, according to Kris Gopalkrishnan, managing director and CEO, Infosys Technologies,
And this seems like just the beginning as India marches ahead on the path towards 10 per cent GDP fuelling demand for more IT professionals in the coming years.
But do you know what are the current trends emerging in the IT industry and how you can take advantage of this trend in hiring? How to prepare yourself if you want to be a part of this high growth?
