Wipro continues search for missing employees

IT giant Wipro is continuing its efforts to establish contact with four of its employees, who were working on the 97th floor of the World Trade Centre in New York which was destroyed in the terrorists attack on Tuesday.

The names of the missing employees are R S Shreyas, Sashikiran L Kadaba, P Hemanth Kumar and S Deepika Kumar, according to a release by Wipro in Bangalore on Thursday.

"We are continuing to work diligently with local authorities in New York to locate the employees," Wipro limited vice chairman Vivek Paul said.

Wipro has established a 24-hour hotline for the benefit of the families and friends of those who were in New York at the time of the tragedy. The telephone number is 91-80-8440313, the release added.
