Salvi ditches SP for BJPSamajwadi Party Maharashtra unit president Rajaram Salvi, along with 10 others, crossed over to the Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday. Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde said Salvi has formally resigned from the SP. He said the former SP chief was joining the BJP unconditionally. Salvi said he was disappointed with the SP's 'lack of policies' and the 'monopoly of certain people in the party' -- but the BJP's secular policies were very attactive. "Only the BJP can give a stable government to the country," Salvi said. |
