13 Ganesh Naik followers return to SenaThirteen members of the New Bombay Municipal Corporation belonging to the Shiv Shakti party of sacked Maharashtra forests minister Ganesh Naik today re-joined the Shiv Sena. Those who have returned to the Sena are Manohar Bal Joshi, Ramesh Shinde, Shatrughan Dabhade, Uttam Mhatre, Nandkumar Chavan, Devaram Patil, Madhuri Parab, Kusum Walilkar, Sunita Pingle, Maalti Dhote, Parvati Kotkar, Shevanti Gaikar and Mohan Maadavi. The councillors met Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane at the Sahyadri guest house in south Bombay at the initiative of Thane Sena politician Anand Dighe. They later left for the residence of Sena leader Bal Thackeray to formally announce their "homecoming". UNI |
