Indian Music, Dance At Carnegie Mellon

Srishti presents a 2-day Festival of Dance and Music from India on September 10 and 11 at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.

The program includes Odissi dance by Sreyashi Dey, dance theater presentation on Kalidasa's Meghadutam, a Hindustani classical vocal by Charu Collur, violin-flute jugalbandi and an experimental performance piece by Sreyashi Dey, Sylvia Tamasuza (performer-drummer from Africa) and poet Andrea Read.
