California Jain Center ActivitiesOne of the bigger Jain centers in North America, the Jain Center of Northern California, has announced a number of activities through the summer. Activities planned for the fall: Sapana Ceremony, September 11; Samvatsari Pratikaman, September 14; Samuh Pärnä, September 15; Das Lakshanä Parv September 15 to September 24; Tapasvi Recognition, September 25 and Mahavir Nirväna-Kalyänak, October 30 Monthly Bhavnä are held every second Friday of the month from 8 pm to 10 pm; Shri Navakär Mahä Mantra Jäp, from 9 am to 12 noon, June 19 and 26. Monks who will be visiting the Center in the next few months: Bandhu Truputji (Jinchandraji Maharaj), Bhattarak Devendrakirtiji, Roopchandji Maharaj, Pandit Dhirajlal Mehta, Narendra Nandu and party, Samanjis, Samanijis, and Others.
