Support to the Kashmiri cause will continue: Pakistan

Asserting that it would continue to support the 'just cause of the Kashmiris', Pakistan on Tuesday credited international mediation for freezing Indo-Pak border tensions at a level where the threat of war had receded.

Federal Information Minister Nisar Memon told Islamabad-based Arab diplomats that India should come out with 'bigger gestures' like resumption of talks to resolve all issues, including Kashmir.

Briefing them on the latest situation between India and Pakistan, he said, "It is good that New Delhi can see that there is no infiltration taking place across the LoC."

"India is now under international pressure. The world leadership is helping the two countries to move in the direction of dialogue," he said.

Memon said Pakistan would continue to provide diplomatic, moral and political support to the 'just cause of Kashmiris'.

Pakistan will never let its territory to be used for terrorist activity as the country itself has been a victim of terrorism over the past 20 years, he said and cited the church attacks and the killing of French nationals.
