India not to sever diplomatic ties with Pakistan

India on Tuesday ruled out severing diplomatic relations with Pakistan.

"There is no question of it," External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh said in New Delhi.

He was replying to a question whether India would sever diplomatic ties with Pakistan in the light of President Pervez Musharraf's comments about the riots in Gujarat.
