Alert: MASA Aptitude Test 2004

The Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture has been permitted by the Pravesh Niyantran Samiti to conduct a state level central entrance test in architecture.

The aptitude test shall be conducted on July 25 from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm at the association's member colleges of architecture all over Maharashtra.

Candidates desiring to opt for management / minority seats are required to appear for the MASA aptitude test.

Successful candidates can approach the college of their choice with the MASA scorecard for admission. They will be required to fill the admission form; the merit lists will be announced later by the respective colleges.

Eligibility for architecture as per the Council of Architecture norms is a minimum of 50 per cent in the aggregate (45 per cent for reserved categories of Maharashtra state only) in HSC or its equivalent examination with English and Mathematics as subjects.

The fee for the aptitude test is Rs 600. The forms and a list of member colleges are available from the member colleges of architecture or can be downloaded from MASA Web site, www.maharch.org. Please contact our local-member institutes for further details and assistance.
