The railway police have filed a charge sheet in a Mumbai court against six accused in connection with the accidental death of film director Nadia Khan.
Of the six, director Kaizad Gustad and his associates Ashish Udeshi and Hedley D'Mello have been charged with 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder'.
Worli police station sub-inspector N Advatkar, Mahalaxmi station superintendent C G Ashokan and Government Railway Police constable Darshana Vaitee have been charged with destroying evidence and shielding the offenders.
A train knocked down Nadia, 27, near the Mahalaxmi station on May 25 while she was shooting for Gustad's film Mumbai Central.
However, Udeshi and D'Mello told the police that a car had hit her.
The charge sheet was filed on August 30.
Ashokan and Vaitee were on duty when the accident took place. However, they did not inform the police.
Advatkar is charged with conniving with them to prepare a false document relating to the accident.
