The Al-mansoorian militant group on Wednesday said the agreement between India and Pakistan to start a bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad was due to political compulsions.

"The agreement reached between the two countries on the bus service will have no bearing on the ongoing struggle in the Valley," Umer Mukhtar, spokesman of the outfit said.

Mukhtar claimed the agreement to run the bus service was the result of international pressure on the two countries.

Al-mansoorian, believed to be a shadow group of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Tayiba, was responsible for a number of suicide attacks on security forces across Jammu and Kashmir in the past few years.
