A new survey shows that children aged 1-6 in some Chinese cities are at least 2 cm taller than those born ten years ago.
The survey shows that boys aged 18 months, 3.5 years, 4 years, 4.5 years, 5 years and 5.5 years are each taller than those of ten years ago.
The survey says the average height of Chinese boys aged 4.5 is 110.2 cm, 3.1 cm taller than their counterparts ten years ago.
The average height of five-year-old Chinese girls is 112.7 cm, 2.7 cm taller than those of ten years ago.
Chinese babies under one year old are 0.5 kg heavier than those of ten years ago, and children aged 1-6 weigh, on an average, around 1.5 kg more.
