After having retained the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance has now set its eyes on other municipal bodies in the state, especially Pune, Nashik, Thane and Ulhasnagar.

"We have crossed the 114 mark in Mumbai and another six independents have met Balasaheb and expressed their willingness to join hands with us. Everybody is welcome into the Sena fold," Shiv Sena member of Parliament and senior leader Sanjay Raut told PTI in Mumbai.

The party was now looking at its options in the Pune municipal elections and the alliance had yet to decide whether it would stake claim to the Pune municipal corporation since it was a hung house.

"Deliberations are still on with regard to the Pune municipal corporation. Situations in other corporations such as Ulhasnagar, Thane and Nashik are also being discussed by Udhav and Balasaheb. A decision will be taken soon," Raut said.

A candidate for mayor of Mumbai was also being shortlisted and would be decided soon. "This time the post is reserved for an OBC woman and we have four candidates for the post. A decision will be taken by Balasaheb soon," he added.
