Rajnath's son made UP BJP youth president

Bharatiya Janata Oarty chief Rajnath Singh's son Pankaj Singh has been made the president of the party's Uttar Pradesh youth wing.

Uttar Pradesh BJP president Ramapati Ram Tripathi, who announced the list of the state party office bearers late on Monday night, appointed six vice-presidents, four general secretaries and six secretaries besides 52 members of the state working committee, BJP sources said.

Hriday Narayan Dixit, Surya Pratap Shahi, Raghubar Dayal Verma were among the vice-presidents while Nagendra Nath, Rajesh Agarwal, Swatantra Deo Singh and Mahendra Singh have been made general secretaries.

Tripathi also announced the names of the chiefs of the state party's frontal organisations.

Pankaj Singh has been made the president of the BJP Yuva Morcha while Sarla Singh has become the president of the Mahila Morcha, they said.

BJP state legislature wing leader Om Prakash Singh, senior party leader Lalji Tandon and Kusum Rai were among the members of the state working committee, sources added.
