Leopold Cafe, where the terror attack in Mumbai unfolded on Wednesday, is likely to throw open its doors to the public on Tuesday.

"Our effort is to open up as soon as possible. Maybe, we will start our operation tomorrow only," the cafe's owner Farhang Jehani told PTI.

The cafe had opened on Sunday only to shut again within half an hour due to an unmanageable crowd. "The cafe had to shut down due to the mad rush of the media and unwanted people coming in and shouting slogans," Jehani said.

Jehani refuted some media reports which said that the café was forced to shut down by police.

Earlier, on November 26, as some guests at the café were enjoying their beer when two terrorists entered and lobbed a grenade.

What followed next was complete mayhem as the AK-47 totting men started firing indiscriminately.

While many bullets hit the patrons of the cafe, some also found their way to the metal doors and thick glasses, paintings and walls leaving behind a trail of blood and testimonies to the horror that visited the cafe that fateful evening.
