What: LearnHub.com, a social learning network run by Canada based Savvica Inc, has announced the Learnhub Dream Study Abroad Scholarship to help students in various academic pursuits to apply and study abroad.
The LearnHub Scholarship is in fact a bursary, with a one time grant of USD 2,000 which can be used to buy books or pay fees. The selected student gets the amount once they join the college and complete the first semester. This scholarship will be declared once in six months and can be applied by any student who is an Indian citizen and a member of LearnHub. While there is no upper cap on the number of scholarships, only deserving candidates will be selected for the same. The first round of results will be out by September 1st week, 2009.
The application procedure is made very simple and carefully laid out to select the most deserving candidates. The prize winners will be felicitated and counseled on how they can extract the maximum from higher education abroad.
