What: The Shiamak Davar Institute for the Performing Arts (SDIPA) will celebrate International Dance Day at their dance classes.
When and where: May 1, 2009 and May 2, 2009 at all SDIPA centres.
Dress Code:
- Come dressed as any international cultural dancer, eg: hip hop, Chinese, Arabic, flamenco, salsa, ballet, Bollywood, bhangra, etc.
- Get any prop that represents that culture/ style.
Details: In addition, you can bring one friend who may have never experienced a dance class or cannot afford to enroll for one, for the 'Special Friends Class'. Your friend could be your driver, maid, maid's child, neighbour's child, a child with special needs, etc.
