Despite being dogged by controversy -- first, the last-minute announcement of a pattern change and second, the postponement of the examination due to the paper being leaked -- and a lot of speculation on the most crucial paper for law aspirants, the CLAT 2009 is finally over.

Conducted on May 31, the Common Law Admission Test took the 14,232 aspiring lawyers by surprise. Barring the Legal GK section which was introduced in place of the Legal Aptitude section, the paper seemed to have pleasantly surprised the students who had prepared hard to face greater challenges.
