What: Institute for Financial Management and Research announces admissions to its full-time PhD programme in Finance & Economics. (Degree Awarded by the University of Madras)

Recognised as a Social Science Institute by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, IFMR has also been approved as an Institution of National Importance by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Programme highlights
Selected candidates will undergo course work during the first two years of the programme and on successful completion will proceed for research dissertation.

Eligibility

  • Post graduates in any discipline. CA, CWA, CS are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have obtained first class throughout.
  • The programme demands quantitative and computing skills.

Selection

  • Test and interview at Chennai.
  • Second Class train fare will be reimbursed.

Financial support

  • Merit-based attractive stipend starting form Rs 20,000 pm
  • Scope for teaching/ research fellowship.
