What: Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test will be held on December 20, 2009 in 29 cities across India. To enroll, aspiring students must register online by November 24, 2009.

About the test
SNAP is the mandatory common written test for admission to any postgraduate programme offered by the 12 Constituent
Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

After appearing for SNAP, students have to apply to the Symbiosis institute/s of their choice, and follow the individual selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the postgraduate programmes of that institute. However, the student's SNAP score remains valid for all institutes under Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

SNAP consists of evaluation in three broad categories: General Knowledge, English and Quantitative Analysis. The latter two sections are on the lines of the UPSC exams for the Indian Civil Service.

How to apply

Step 1:
Registering for SNAP as well as individual institute is mandatory. The online SNAP registration has already begun.

Step 2:
Register online with SNAP by filling in the form and paying the requisite fees (ie for the common admission brochure as well as the SNAP examination) of Rs 1,500 /- through Axis Bank.

Step 3:
Once you receive your SNAP ID please use the same to register for SIBM, Pune. Go to Register online link and use the online process for registration by paying Rs 1,000/- through credit card / Cash / DD in favour of Director, SIBM Pune payable at Pune through / at any Axis Bank Branch. You can also register for SIBM on SNAP website: www.snaptest.org
