Is this the first time you've walked a Kolkata ramp?
Yes. And I feel honoured that I have been given the opportunity to wear a creation from the real weavers from the remotest part of Bengal. They are the true-blue fashion designers.

How often do you wear a sari?
Not much, but I can carry a sari quite well.

What kind of saris do you prefer?
Saris are sexy and it depends more on how you wear a sari than what you wear. For me, I guess, I will pick something that reflects the handworks of the rural craftspeople and weavers. I like traditional saris too.

Do you think weavers need a star showstopper to promote their matchless work?
I don't know. But I feel, there's no harm in stars showstopping for the weavers. I understand, weavers are stars in themselves, but still, if our presence helps in the slightest way, then where's the problem?

You have a very sensuous look in your forthcoming film Rang Rasiya.
I have worn a lot of saris in that film; and as I told you just now, saris make a woman look more sensuous than she would in other outfits.
