To participate, a minimum of 3 members from any such educational institute need to form a team and create a page on rediff.com tackling any specific concept.
Choose a topic you would love to promote -- it could be your college, your department, placement activities, a cultural event, bands in your college, a professor who deserves a fan base, your sports-team -- anything that excites you!
You could win:
1st prize: Rs 1 lakh
2nd prize: Rs 50,000
3rd prize: Rs. 25,000
And here's how it works. You need to:
- Log on to http://pages.rediff.com and create your rediff.com MyPage
- Visit http://pages.rediff.com/wizards-2010/ and register your 3-member team by providing basic authentication details
- Enter the URL of your page and submit
- Keep this page active, by inviting friends as your fans, posting photos, uploading videos, adding comments.

On February 25, we will announce the top 10 teams based on the number of fans you gather and the amount of activity on the page. These teams will be invited to the rediff.com office, an all-expense paid trip. All these teams will also get a certificate from rediff.com
The top 10 teams then have to make a presentation to our panel who will select the winners. You will be evaluated based on the difference you made to the initiative, techniques you used to promote your MyPage and overall publicity you gave to the page across various sectors of the media.
