What: MET League of Colleges and Chartered Insurance Institutes (CII), London announce the eMBA-Insurance programme.
About the programme
The two-year programme available for both general and life insurance students, will entitle the students for a joint certification in e-empowered management and business administration with exclusive specialisation in the insurance sector.
A part of the course will train students in London giving them exposure to the international insurance market. The insurance programme will feature management and business courses developed by the MET League of Colleges.
The programme's technical contents have been developed by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London and the Insurance Institute of India (III).
Students joining this programme will also be automatically enrolled as members of the CII, giving them access to a range of global services to support them in their career across 150 countries the world over.
The eMBA-Insurance programme has been approved and recognised by Insurance Institute of India (III) and Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA).
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university, approved by UGC. In the case of foreign nationals the university must be approved by the respective state / country. Those who are appearing for the final year of degree
examination can also apply.

Students can register online at www.met.edu by making a payment of Rs 2000 through credit/debit cards or may buy the prospectus in cash or DD in favour of 'MET's AMDC' payable at Mumbai.
Selection procedure
Appear for MET Online Test (preliminary). This will be followed by MET CET/ CAT+ GD + PI. Students should have cleared TOEFL with a score of 75 per cent or else may appear for the 'Test of English' during the MET CET.
Important dates
Online registration closes on June 18, 2010.
Entrance exam will be held at MET on June 26-27, 2010.
