Yesterday, we published an interview with Manasvi Mamgai, in which the newly-crowned Miss India-World 2010, who is now preparing for the international pageant confessed that her biggest fear was failure.

We have all been through rough times when, despite all our efforts things have come to nought. Lost promotions, academic failure, unsuccessful job interviews, the inability to save a relationship -- you win some, you lose some and that's just life. But coping up when the going gets tough is not something that comes easily to everyone.

Do you have a story to tell about coping with and overcoming failure? Tell us of those trying times and how you triumphed over them.

Share your experiences and opinions -- simply send in your stories to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'How I dealt with failure') and we'll publish the most interesting responses right here.

You can also send in a photograph of yourself to publish alongside your account and if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too. But your story might inspire someone else to overcome similar circumstances, so do write in.
