The New York-based designer has designed for the likes of Michelle Obama among others.

Surelee has come a long way since the time she starred in a TV show, Remix back in 2004 before turning to the runway.
She made her debut at Lakme Fashion Week during the Fall/Winter 2010 season after participating in modelling auditions in February 2009.

When she spoke with Rediff.com in 2009, the English Literature grad hoped to write a book but remained keen on making a name for herself as a model but was also exploring the possibility of acting in the movies.
