We had asked you, dear readers to share your good and bad ATM experiences

Kamal Sajwan from New Delhi tells us how he got his money back on time.

I am an old ICICI bank customer.

On April 16, 2014, I used an ICICI bank ATM and entered an amount of Rs 12,000 to withdraw.

The machine did not dispense cash.

I received an SMS. It said that money was debited from my account.

I was scared as I had never been in such a situation earlier. It happened around 9 pm.

I immediately called up the ICICI customer care. All the executives were busy, so it took me around 15 to 20 minutes to get connected with them.

I explained the situation to the customer care executive. He ensured me that the amount will be credited back to my account in the next 24 hours.

By the time the conversation ended, I received another message on my mobile.

The message said that the amount has been reversed.

It was such relief. After all, I didn't have to wait for 24 hours to get my money back.

Since then I prefer using ICICI bank ATMs to withdraw big amounts.
