This incident happened 16 years ago.

It was the day my graduation results were declared. I'd failed in one of the subjects for the first time. I had never failed in any exam before.

I was upset. I thought about my parents and how they'd managed the expenses for my studies.

My father was working overtime. We were living in semi-slum area in Pune. I badly needed to pass the exam so I could start working.

When I told my father about my result, he paused for a while. He then told me, "Always remember, failure is not bigger than you. If not today, tomorrow you will be successful".

Those heart warming words from my father were a great support for me.

Eventually I cleared my exam, found a job and completed my Master's degree in Computer Science and worked in many multinational companies.

Whenever I take new step, I always remember my father's words and today, I am no longer afraid of failing.
