They have gathered courage, dabbed on some make-up and are all set to impress the jury at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive auditions happening in Mumbai, June 30.

Once again, aspiring models from different parts of the country have lined up to make their dream of becoming a model come true. And nothing but Lakme Fashion Week -- that's touted to be one of the best platforms -- is here to help them kickstart their career in modelling.

So what does it take to be a good model and win at the auditions?

No one said that LFW's hunt for fresh new faces is going to be an easy task. One of the jury members at this season's (Winter/Festive) audition and fashion choreographer Anu Ahuja thinks that the secret to modelling isn't about being perfect but unique to bag a spot at the main show.

Meanwhile, Malini Agarwal, founder of popular fashion and entertainment portal Miss Malini advices models to be fierce as they walk on the runway and to channel their "inner awesome".

Well as the models gear up to blow the jury away with their deadly gait, we wish them luck and hope they give their best shot today.

Stay tuned to get more updates from LFW auditions.
