Two women and three non-engineers are among the 20 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT), 2017.
The results for Common Admission Test, which is an all-India entrance exam for entry into top business schools including the Indian Institutes of Management, were announced on Monday.
Nearly 2 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam.
Two women and three non-engineers are among the 20 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT), 2017.
Last year, all 20 candidates scoring 100 percentile were engineers and males.
"While in CAT 2016 all the top 20 candidates were men and engineers, this year the top 20 list contains two women candidates and three non-engineers," said the exam convenor Neerja Dwivedi from IIM Lucknow.
IIM Lucknow was the coordinating institution for CAT 2017.
Among the top scorers are Sai Praneet Reddy from IIT Madras, Sidharth Kumar from Patna, Vishal Vohra (Kolkata) Meet Aggarwal (Surat), Pramod Beri (Chandigarh), Arvind Menon and Mayank Raj from IIT-Bombay and coaching master Patrick DSouza from Thane, Mumbai.
Patrick DSouza bagged the perfect score for the fourth time.
Chhavi Gupta from Delhi is one of the female toppers this year.

A 41-year-old Mumbai teacher stands out in the list of 100 percentile scorers in the Common Admission Test (CAT).
He doesn't plan to enrol into a B school. Dsouza appeared for the exam to understand the exam pattern.
Patrick DSouza has appeared for CAT 14 times bagging the perfect score in four attempts. His score in all the attempts has been above 99 percentile.
DSouza, who provides coaching to CAT aspirants told PTI, "I appear for the exam so I can understand the test pattern each year and also remain reassured that my own concepts are clear and knowledge upto date"
A 1997 batch passout from the NIT Allahabad, DSouza appeared for CAT in 2000 but could not secure admission in any of the IIMs.
He, however, completed his MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and worked in the corporate world for four years before realising that teaching was his true calling.
Chhavi Gupta
Delhi girl Chhavi Gupta is among the two women candidates to have scored perfect 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT).
An IIT Delhi graduate in Biotechnology, Chhavi wants to join IIM-Ahmedabad.
"I'm pinning my hopes on IIM-Ahmedabad and I'm really looking forward to the interviews," Gupta told PTI.
She is currently working in Noida-based Opera Solutions.
An avid fiction lover, Chhavi has not zeroed down the area she would specialise in at the B school.
"All IIMs have common curriculum for the first year and in the second year one has to choose the specialisation. I haven't thought of it yet and will make my choice then only," she added.
The CAT was conducted in two shifts on November 26, 2017.
A total of 199,632 candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted in test centres spread across 140 cities.
After the result, various IIMs will announce their admission criteria largely based on the CAT score, writing ability, group discussion and personal interviews.
India has 20 IIMs admitting nearly 4,000 students into their flagship two-year management programs.
