Tiger diaries

Nishtala V Rao from Mumbai took this picture at Tadoba Tiger Reserve in December 2017.
'This picture was taken before this young tiger went and picked up the lunch boxes of the labourers who were working on the road," Nishtala said. Photograph: Kind courtesy Nishtala V Rao

Tiger diaries

'MAYA ki maya’ is quite famous in Tadoba, Nikhil Bani says.
"She is the most camera friendly tigress of Tadoba and thus most clicked one too.
"This charming prince appeared from inside the bushes and like mother, was not way afraid of so many vehicles and walked boldly through all of them. He knew his power and showed it too with his 'Innocent Roar' and that’s when I tilted little outside the gypsy and clicked this pic.
"We were spell bound. We realised what they meant when they say -- For every time you see a tiger, a tiger sees you a 100 times!" Photograph: Kind courtesy Nikhil Bani

Tiger diaries

Jinesh Shah, 27, spotted Dotty the tiger at Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh.

Tiger diaries

Kuntal Paul, 48 from Bhubaneshwar snapped this tiger at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan.
