Wedding style re-imagined!

Shyamal and Bhumika's latest collection at the Amazon India Fashion Week fused old with the new.

The designers incorporated age-old crafts and embroideries in a young, dynamic collection by using popular embroideries like pitta and aari to create stunning silhouettes inspired by botanical flowers and ferns.

Take a look!

One look at Diana's outfit and you'll love it. It beautifully and effortlessly syncs old with the new -- the embroideries are from the past, but the style is new and refreshing. Brides, you may want to incorporate this outfit in your bridal trousseau. Don't forget the belt!

Dare to wear black to a wedding? Why not! If it is as stylish as this sari.

Yet another gorgeous black outfit from the collection. Certainly the designers hope to incorporate a new colour palate for the wedding season.

While designers Shyamal and Bhumika attempted to incorporate new colours into their collection, they also gave the audience plenty choices to play around with the done to death shades too!

The collection saw outfits in rich fabrics like velvet, matka, tussar and silk.

This was one of the few pastel outfits in the collection.

The designers didn't stick to the ordinary with this collection. In this outfit, they added a black belt and made the model wear the dupatta differently.

Doesn't this outfit look like a structured sherwani with straight pants? It's actually an embroidered jacket with a matching stole, paired with knee-length boots.
