Thank you dear readers for taking the #10YearChallenge

Here are some more responses we received.

Krishan Kumar

Krishna Kumar Vesarwani, 29 from Varanasi told us how much his life has changed in a decade:

I passed out of class 10 in 2006 with first division.

My dream was to pursue automobile engineering.

When my father had a financial crisis, I had to drop out of school and look for a job to support the family.

My first job was in a cloth shop where I got Rs 1,500 as salary.

Later I worked at a medical store for Rs 2,000 a month. With my savings, I paid my class 12th board exam fee.

I appeared for class 12 exam in 2010 and passed with 72 per cent.

In 2016, I completed my MBA.

In these years, I have worked on contract basis and switched jobs. I learned a lot about how to treat people at work.

Today, I work as assistant officer in a cement company.

Ten years ago, my bank balance was zero. Today, I invest almost half my salary in SIP (systematic investment plan) and I feel relaxed.

My message to young readers is to please treat your parents with respect. Do not send them to old age home.

When they are old, they need love from you, your wife and your children.

Also, never run away from your problems. Try to face them.

Lastly, please try to plant at least one tree in your life so that we can together save our Earth and nature.

Baljeet Sansoa takes the 10 year challenge

Baljeet Sansoa, 37 from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand talked about his fitness:

I have become very strict about my diet and health.

I am more disciplined now.

I go for long walks and play cricket in my spare time.

Tejpal Singh

Tejpal Singh Virdi, 35 from Hyderabad, Telangana pursued his dreams and is a happy man:

My goal was to become a fashion designer but due to my professional and personal life challenges, I was unable to find time to join this course.

In 2018, I joined fashion designing course in HAMSTECH Fashion Designing School and now I can call myself a fashion designer.

I have started taking orders and fulfilling them in my free time. This course has made my life even more colourful.

Apart from fashion designing, I have also learnt how much health is important in everyone's lives.

I got motivated looking at physically fit people around me and I also started walking and jogging everyday.

This exercise helped me achieve physical strength, stamina, inner peace and balance things in my daily life.

I lost weight and and have maintained it at 62 kg for the past 3 years.
