During her two-day visit to India, Melania Trump made sure that her style was a step up from the rest.

On her arrival to India, she looked chic in a custom white jumpsuit by Atelier Caito For Herve Pierre.

Adding a touch of desi inspiration to her look, she rounded it off with a green silk sash cut in early XX Century Indian documents.

For Day Two, the First Lady chose a white shirt dress by Venezuelan fashion designer Carolina Herrera.

The cotton-poplin dress featured a collar, and Melania added a pop of colour to the outfit with a red belt cinched around her waist.

Wearing her signature smokey eye make up, she rounded off the look with pink lips.

Later, when she attended the state dinner at the presidential palace in New Delhi, Melania opted for a show-stopping pink flowing silhouette by the same designer.

She styled the $3,000 (approximately ₹2,15,302) pink Carolina Herrera dress with chandelier earrings by Amrapali Jewels and mojari-inspired flats.
