Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Natasha Dalal wed on Sunday, January 24, at The Mansion House in Alibaug, the coastal town across the sea from Mumbai.

While Natasha wore a heavily embroidered ivory lehenga-choli from her label, Varun was dressed by Manish Malhotra.

Sharing a video (external link) about Varun's wedding look, Manish noted wrote on Instagram: 'Varun looks like a regal prince in our bespoke white sherwani.'

The sherwani featured intricate gold and silver zardozi hand-embroidery.

Varun layered the look with a celeste blue embroidered drape.

He paired the sherwani with custom encrusted embroidered shoes by Shutiq for Manish Malhotra.

Manish also took to Instagram to congratulate the couple on their wedding day.

'Dearest Natasha and Varun many congratulations,' he wrote.

'Wish you'll happiness and abundance of laughter together.

'My dear Varun from attending Lalli and Davidji's* wedding, to seeing you growing up and then styling you in your first film, to seeing you become such an accomplished actor and now dressing you as a groom and being there at your lovely and intimate wedding was a warm and emotional experience...

'The way you'll looked at each other at the varmala was a very beautiful and heartfelt moment. Lots of love and blessings always.'

Natasha chose to abstain from the red chooda for a pair of white ones which matched her outfit to perfection.

*Lalli is what Varun's mother Karuna is called by family and close friends. David is Varun's dad, the movie hit-maker David Dhawan.
