Asha Hariharan knows hair. Indian hair, to be exact.

The owner of Beyond the Fringe, a South Mumbai-based Salon and Academy, for years Asha has been brining the hottest international hair trends to Indian clients.

Now, she's tapped by Wella Professionals to serve as a Brand Ambassador in India.

At the August 1 Wella Professionals Personalised Trends 2009 Hair Show in Mumbai, Hariharan teamed up with top Wella stylist Stephan Zenz to show off some exciting new developments in the upper echelons of international hair styling.

Hariharan also took time to discuss with rediff.com some tips and tricks that Indian clients should keep in mind when going in for a new 'do. And she even told us how to spruce up an old look! Watch the video for more.
