A British newspaper has put together a racy collection of snaps featuring sizzling models for lingerie firm Ultimo.

The pictures of Ultimo angels, compiled by the Daily Star, start off with singer Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster, who was the brand's very first model.

In 2004, the lingerie giant stirred up a controversy by replacing Penny with supermodel Rachel Hunter, Rod Stewart's ex-wife.

The year 2006 saw Rachel replaced by another supermodel -- the lovely Helena Christensen.

In 2007, Girls Aloud popster Sarah Harding was the new face of Ultimo, signed on for something to the tune of 100,000 pounds.

The same year, voluptuous Gemma Atkinson became the face of the brand's D-G range.

Former Spice Girl Melanie B showed off her post-baby bod when she began endorsing the lingerie last year, posing in a series of burlesque-style pics.

The same year, television presenter and curvy glamour model Melinda Messenger replaced Gemma for the D-G range in 2008.

Model Katie Green also got signed on for the D-G range with Ultimo last October when a modelling agency told her to lose weight. The coverage she got when the story broke was enough for the lingerie brand to swoop in on her to target full-bodied, healthy women.

Earlier this year, singer and Dancing on Ice (Series 4) participant Jessica Taylor showed off her fabulously toned body for Diamond Boutique, a range of economically-priced ladies intimates for retail chain Tesco.

And finally, we have the newest face, daughter of Irish musician and political activist Bob Geldof, socialite Peaches Geldof. Peaches posed for a '50s-style shoot only last month, targetting youngsters with a range called Miss Ultimo.
