We asked readers what they would do if they had only three years to live life to the fullest? While the contest closes on November 23, here are some interesting responses. And keep them coming, because the best entries win prizes from rediff.com

First up, we have Seetharaman Kalia Murthy, 32, from Bangalore:

The ten things I would like to do before I die are:

1. Slap the people who always irritated me.

2. Express my love to somebody I did not have the guts to in my past.

3. Go on a tour to Europe like in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

4. Enter a reality show and shout that reality shows are fake to the viewers.

5. Conduct a programme on FM radio, wherein I can give away all the hidden secrets I know about others to the whole world.

6. Walk into my office with dirty clothes on.

7. Run haphazardly through a street full of traffic.

8. Give a piece of my mind to the traffic policemen who are corrupt and expect people to pay whenever they stop them.

9. Make Rahul Gandhi adopt me.

10. Pull out all the students attending classes and make them enjoy life and nature.

'I'll become slim and wear designer clothes'

Here is what Soumya Shrikant would do:

1. Go to Switzerland.

2. Buy a very big house.

3. Spend quality time with my mom, dad, brother, husband and son.

4. Donate to orpahanages and old-age homes.

5. Become slim very soon and wear all designer clothes.

6. Quit my job and rest forever.

7. Go shopping and buy whatever I want for myself and for others also, whom I wish to gift.

8. Stay at least for a week in a beach resort in Goa.

9. Read all the novels which I have missed reading.

10. Sleep and sleep and sleep...

'I'd live for myself, not others'

Mohan Natarajan's to-do list includes:

1. Backpacking around the globe.

2. Getting rid of all obligations.

3. Spending, not saving.

4. Educating at least 100 people.

5. Resolving as many conflicts as I can.

6. Reading one book daily.

7. Watching one film daily.

8. Sleeping as little as I can.

9. Living for myself, not for others.

10. Being deliriously happy.

'Try different types of vegetarian food every day'

And here is what Maxim B John, a 29-year-old software engineer from Kollam in Kerala wants to do:

1. Quit my job as an engineer, go back to Kerala and start farming on my land.

2. Buy a kayak so that I can do kayaking every morning at Ashtamudi Lake, which is roughly 200 metres from my home.

3. Send my parents for a month's holiday to Singapore so that they can enjoy travelling to a foreign country on an international flight.

4. Try different types of vegetarian food every day. I will be cooking food in different international styles by referring to different cooking Websites.

5. Watch all the 100 movies on the 'Best 100 movies of all time' list.

6. Learn the magic of the flute so that I can play it while sitting on the shores of Ashtamudi Lake.

7. Go back to Mumbai again in 2012 for a week to "enjoy" the journey in suburban trains.

8. Learn Japanese so that I can call Miki-san (a Japanese teacher who works with me) on her birthday and wish her in Japanese. We share the same birthday so that usually we say "Same to you" when the other person calls first.

9. Write and submit enough Linux kernel source code patches at work so that I will get the feeling of "immortality".

10. Go to Goa with all my friends for the final bash.
