Last month, India's AlcoBev industry pulled off a successful two-day showcase exhibition at the Hotel Renaissance in Powai. So successful, in fact, that people in the food and beverage industry are still talking about the exiting event.
Participants included United Spirits Ltd, United Breweries Ltd, Bacardi, Radico Khaitan, Tilaknagar Industries, John Distilleries, Amrut Distilleries, South African Breweries and so on.
There were premium wines, top-shelf spirits and imported beer aplenty. rediff.com caught up with some of the exhibitors, and had them reveal some of the secrets of their trade.

The folks at Old Monk gave us a new drink to enjoy with their product: the litchi daiquiri. While the traditional daiquiri is popular in the West, certainly this new litchi-inspired drink owes much to Asia!
