We asked readers what they would do if they had only three years to live life to the fullest? While the contest closes on November 23, here are some interesting responses. And keep them coming, because the best entries win prizes from rediff.com

Here's what Nalini J Kudalkar from Mumbai wants:

1. I would like to win a lottery of 10 crores.

2. I would go on a world tour.

3. I would learn to drive my own car.

4. I would visit Phuket Beach and stay there for a year.

5. I would meet my favourite childhood actress and chat with her for a full day.

6. I would go to Paris and photograph myself at the Eiffel Tower.

7. I would legally adopt my stray pet dog Pushpa Sakhoo and nominate her to inherit my property.

8. I would do the full monty on a beach till midnight.

9. I would just zip around in my new Merc along with Pushpa Sakhoo.

10. I would spend on shopping for myself, buying everything I can.

'I want to see my beloved Indians stop fighting over petty issues'


UK-based Ranjit Nair, 26, has the following in mind:

1. Be the greatest gift to my parents, by being the best son in the world.

2. Have sex as many times as I can.

3. Repay all my student loans.

4. Just wish there were less/ no children on our highways and pavements.

5. Listen to Pink Floyd every day, every night until my death.

6. I want to see my beloved Indians stop fighting over petty issues of national song, religion, region etc when there are more pressing issues to be dealt with like poverty, illiteracy etc.

7. Read all of George Orwell's novels and short stories.

8. Visit Highbury, home of Arsenal Football Club.

9. Find that special person whom I truly love.

10. Try to enjoy one Bollywood movie.

Mustafa Jamil, 28, had the following ideas:

Here's my bucket list:

1. Bash my supervisor up.

2. Quit my job.

3. Buy an SLR camera.

4. Go on a Euro Rail trip (evening in Paris atop the Eiffel Tower, overnight sojourns crosscountry in Switzerland, Austria, Italy to try and establish the veracity of the Holocaust, curse Hitler, yes shooting all the while with my SLR).

5. End up in London -- visit Westminster Abbey, Sesame Street and stop by Savile Row to buy a suit.

6. Get married in Mykonos wearing the Savile Row suit.

7. Extended honeymoon in Vegas followed by a short trip to Niagara and Miami.

8. Read all the books I ever wanted to read and take quick trips to Kashmir and Goa and if time permits, Darjeeling.

9. Go for Haj.

10. Sail to the Cape of Good Hope (the movie funda from 2012) and live in constant hope!

Here are my 10 commandments:

1. Take charge as CM of Tamil Nadu for a day.

2. Stop all the free gifts to people and instead create employment opportunities to make them self-dependent.

3. Bring down the cost of essential commodities, education and healthcare.

4. Will put an end to fertile lands getting converted into houses.

5. Establish Vedic education system.

6. Dismiss all corrupt bureaucrats.

7. Abolish caste system in the country.

8. Destroy nuclear weapons of all countries except India.

9. Will cook food for my wife and make sure she eats it.

10. Travel along with the motorman on the fastest train in the world.
