She has been around the Indian fashion scene for a while now but on Day Two of HDIL India India Couture Week, Pallavi Jaikishan showed that there's a heck of a lot left in her.

The collection called Five Stories featured sari dresses, lehngas and jackets among other designs.

Monikangana Dutta goes all-Indian in this sari with fine embroidered border.

The peach story

The collection was inspired by minakari jewellery with the palette ranging from peach to shades of emerald.

Pretty in pink

Jesse Randhawa had our attention from the moment she stepped on the ramp. Though we simply couldn't help noticing a surgery mark (was it appendicitis?) on her right.

Emeralds all the way

Heck you simply can't do without them this season. Love them or hate them, emeralds are here to stay.

Choli ke peeche?

What a breeze!

A heavily embroidered and a stunning sari dress is what you'd want to be seen in this season.

Saying it with pink

Soft, feminine and oh-so-pink, this one is sure to make heads turn at your wedding this season. Flat abs, a must.

Bejewelled and bedazzled

Pallavi's collection also featured a line of mounted antique jewellery pieces that have been sourced from markets all over the world.

Bong-shell

Noyonika Chatterjee brought the show to an end showcasing the final piece of a collection that was designed to target the coming wedding season.

And the round of applause

The veteran designer would've walked away right from the beginning of the ramp had it not been for Noyonika who insisted she walk with her and soak in the applause.
