Rediff.com caught up with model Shruti Agarwal at the Couture Week. The sexy Maxim girl spoke about men, gambling and how she loves them both!
What's the one thing you don't step out of your house without?
I always carry my perfume and my lip balm even though I don't always wear a lot of make-up even if it is while going to the gym.
What your favourite perfume?
Lalique and Coco Chanel!
What do you always carry in your bag?
There's always a make-up kit, diary and a pen -- something I realise is important, especially at airports. And then there's the mobile phone.
What mobile phone do you use?
The Motorola Motoming. But I do plan to buy an iPone 3G because I have heard good things about it!
What's your favourite gadget?
I love my iPod because I cannot do without music when I travel.
What is on your iPod?
Lots of rock music, R&B, electronica, world music and some Hindi songs
Do you watch Hindi movies?
Yes! In India there is no running away from it.
What was the last Hindi movie you watched?
Kaminey! No actually it was Wake Up Sid it's a cute movie.
Your favourite male stars in Bollywood?
All the Khans I guess.
And among the actresses?
Definitely Kajol besides Madhuri Dixit and Rani Mukerji. Among today's crop of heroines I really like Kareena Kapoor. She's perfect.
Your favourite male model
My friends Asif and Saahil are pretty good and so is Namit Khanna.
What is your first response to a stupid pick up line?
If it's really very stupid, I'd probably laugh at it because it means no harm to me. If I don't like it or sense the lack of humour, I usually ignore it. If the guy gets pushy, I take action.
What's the worse pick up line anyone's used on you so far?
Can't think of one because I meet quite a few cool guys. But sometimes things can get rather odd at the airport. Once there was a guy who saw me working out on a treadmill and not knowing how to strike a conversation said, "So today doing cardio?"
Are you seeing someone?
No, I am single.
What are your plans this diwali?
I will definitely gamble because that's something everyone in my family has always done on Diwali. I would have loved to go home but the couture week gets over just a day before Diwali.
